Diptych made from the 1826 work by Hasegawa Settan長谷川雪旦Japanese painter from the end of the Edo period, born in Edo.
The diptych depicts three superimposed whales and Japanese writing, printed at the time using the woodcut technique.
Each poster measures 42 x 59.4 cm (full display 84 x 59.4 cm).
