General terms and conditions of sale
Preamble
Aster Edition recommends that its customers inform themselves of the general terms and conditions of sale of the www.asteredition.com website. Once the order has been validated, the customer will have read them and tacitly accepted their clauses. Aster Edition reserves the right to revise them at any time.
1. Subject
The present conditions of sale define the contractual terms between Aster Edition and the customer with respect to the items marketed on the www.asteredition.com website. This implies unreserved acceptance by the customer of these conditions of sale (in accordance with the legal and regulatory provisions governing e-commerce and distance selling).

3. The products
The www.asteredition.com website offers interior decoration items from old documents, remastered with the greatest care and presented in different collections. All the works in the shop are free of copyright.
4. The prices
The prices of the products are indicated in Euros inclusive of all taxes (VAT and other taxes applicable on the day of the order), unless otherwise indicated and excluding shipping costs. Aster Edition reserves the right to modify its prices at any time.
5. The order
The customer adds the desired item to the shopping basket, and may validate the purchase or continue with the order at any time.
Any confirmation of an order implies full acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, without exception or reservation. It is advisable to check references and quantities before payment.
As Aster Edition products are made to order, please allow 2 to 4 working days for production.
The customer will be informed by email of the confirmation of his order.
6. Payment
At the time of payment, delivery costs are added to the amount of the items in the basket.
At the time of payment, the customer will be presented with the final price indicating the total including VAT for the items and delivery.
Customers can choose to pay either by credit card or via Paypal.
On this subject, it is important to specify that it is not necessary to have a personal account to use Paypal. This is a secure method of payment.
7. Delivery
Delivery conditions apply to metropolitan France, French overseas departments and territories and abroad.
Prices are calculated according to the country of dispatch, and cover packaging and dispatch costs.
All orders placed on the www.asteredition.com website before 1pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched within 24 to 48 hours.
Items are sent in packaging adapted to their fragility; however, the seller cannot be held responsible for any damaged shipment.
Any return to sender due to an incomplete or incorrect address will be reshipped at the buyer's expense.
All orders are shipped with a tracking system.
Our posters are carefully packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube, and delivery is tracked worldwide. Posters of A4 size or smaller are delivered flat in a sturdy cardboard envelope.
For orders from France, the products are manufactured in the Netherlands, and delivery times are, as a rough guide, 2 to 6 working days, once they have been picked up by the postal services.
Allow 2 to 10 working days for Europe and 10 to 20 working days for the rest of the world.
For all overseas and international deliveries, delivery times are variable and depend on the different postal services.
Any delay in delivery may not give rise to damages, withholding or cancellation of the order by the purchaser.
8. Withdrawal
In accordance with the provisions of article L.121-21 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 (fourteen) working days to exercise his/her right of withdrawal without having to justify his/her reasons or pay any penalties, with the exception, where applicable, of return costs. Returns must be in their original condition and complete (packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.) to the following address: Florent Bodart, 589 Chemin de Font Orgière, 84160 Cadenet, France .. In this case, the customer is liable. Any damage suffered by the product on this occasion may be likely to defeat the right of withdrawal. Aster Edition undertakes to provide an exchange or refund (excluding return costs) within 30 days, if the conditions set out are met.
9. Personal data
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the seller undertakes not to communicate the customer's personal information to any third party. This information, which is essential for processing orders, may be accessed, rectified or deleted at any time on request.
10. Intellectual property rights
All elements of the www.asteredition.com website: illustrations, photographs, texts, logos and packaging are protected by copyright and intellectual property law.
Any unauthorised use of one of these elements will be considered as constituting an infringement and will be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
11. Applicable law
These terms and conditions of online sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute arising from the relationship between the customer and the seller, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
